Jereh Group Signs Strategic Cooperation Memorandum with UAE Ministry of Investment Covering Anode Materials and Other Fields
On April 13, 2026, during the visit to China by Sheikh Khaled, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi of the United Arab Emirates, the China-UAE Enterprise Promotion Conference was solemnly held in Beijing. On the sidelines of the conference, Jereh Group formally signed a Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation (MoU) with the Ministry of Investment of the United Arab Emirates.
This cooperation comes as China and Arab states mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, serving as another strong testament to the sustained and friendly cooperation between the two sides. It will inject strong industrial momentum into the building of a China-Arab community with a shared future in the new era.
Under the MoU, Jereh will actively advance its investment layout in the United Arab Emirates, focusing on project cooperation in such fields as small modular reactors (SMRs), artificial intelligence data centers (AIDCs), anode materials, and lithium battery recycling. Relevant investments will be promoted in an orderly manner upon the approval of the governments of both sides and internal corporate reviews.
This move will help the UAE advance industrial localization, energy transition, forward-looking strategic planning, and the implementation of the UAE Energy Strategy 2050. The UAE Ministry of Investment will coordinate investment strategies and implementation arrangements, provide all-round support for Jereh’s investment in the UAE, and ensure the smooth launch of relevant projects.
